Book launch – Benji and the Gunpowder Plot

Suitable for children aged 9-12 years old, it is a tale of action and adventure, mysterious historical figures and a race in, out, and through time.

Bring blankets and cushions, come and snuggle down as the night draws in, and listen to a story of plotters, kings and actors. There is a chance to ask Kate about the history behind the story and get a copy of the new book signed.

When you lose your parents and 400 years, you are having a bad day! Benji sets out to enjoy Bonfire Night with a group of friends, but when he accidentally falls down a time hole he lands in 1605. He is now living the life of an apprentice to the sword-maker, John Cradock.
