About the Woodfield Project charity

The Woodfield Project (TWP) is a registered charity and is devoted to running and using the Pavilion to benefit local communities and community groups.

TWP aims to engage with and celebrate the diversity of its local community and natural environment, promoting health and sustainability in everything it does. TWP aims to develop the pavilion as a 'go-to hub' for people to share in culture, festivities, ideas, learning and well-being. Our aims include:

·       Providing a safe space for training, learning, recreation and leisure;

·       Promoting the appreciation of the natural environment;

·       Protecting and enhancing the natural environment of the Woodfield Ground;

·       Actively engaging with local people and groups; and

·       Actively extending the benefits of Woodfield to vulnerable and socially excluded people in our community.

As TWP continues to develop it relies on a team volunteers, members and trustees to keep the Pavilion open and running.

We are currently developing a central management committee, consisting of trustees, our manager and volunteers. Together with others who might include representatives of resident organisations, the wider voluntary and community sectors, and of people with professional knowledge of property management, marketing, finance, horticulture, arboriculture, botany and biology, the management committee will support and oversee the running and progression of the Pavilion and its programme.

If you are interested in getting involved please do get in contact. We’d love to hear from you!
