Day of the Dead parade

Tooting’s own Day of the Dead Parade.

Gather from 4:45 by the lake, and then set off to Woodfield Pavilion by torchlight to the amazing sounds of Mr Wilson’s Second Liners. Dress for the occasion, bring a torch, or come to one of our pre-parade workshops (for adults & children) to make beautiful things to carry in the parade.

If you are attending the pumpkin parade, bring a carriage (pushchair) for your pumpkin so you can join the march. At the Woodfield Pavilion there will be further festivities including storytelling, food, more music and ceremony and a fire eater!. Event ends 7:30/8:00 latest.

We need volunteers for the parade and other events planned. If you can spare an hour or two or would like to get involved, please let me know. There will be an in-person (with zoom option) meeting this Tuesday, 7-8pm at 36 Airedale Road in Balham.

Please contact me for more information / clarification or to volunteer.
