Jane Wakes Pilates Flow is a unique, dynamic form of Pilates with a focus on deep core strength, muscle balancing and release. With Jane's background in Sports Science she takes a very balanced approach, including movements from Martial arts as well as Yoga but with all the technique and core focus of Pilates. This is a fantastic class for anyone looking for something a little more dynamic and active than regular Pilates. It's a great practice and compliment to anyone needing to balance out their sport or just looking for a place to gain strength, balance and greater flexibility. Whilst the class is active, Jane promotes a calm presence and a focus on release whilst awakening neuromuscular pathways. This is how we can ultimately generate more power, co-ordination & synergy through our nervous system, muscles, tendons and other tissues. Come prepared for a very new and different approach to Pilates! Our Saturday morning class goes at a slightly faster pace than our Tuesday evening class however both classes are suitable for all levels of ability.
