Ailbhe has worked as a graphic designer and illustrator for many years and only began to create her own art when she attended Morley College printmaking classes in 2015. Her etchings were chosen for the V&A curated exhibitions “Inspired By…” in 2016 and 2018 at Morley Gallery, London. She started to explore painting in 2024, incorporating a variety of media from acrylics to gelli-printing to inks and oil pastels. Her artistic interest is in still life and landscapes, with a special interest in local places. Ailbhe has exhibited locally at Sprout Arts and Woodfield Pavilion group shows. In 2022 she was commissioned to create a set of postal stamps for the Irish Post Office and again in 2023 when she represented Ireland in the pan-european Europa stamp project. She will be showing a mix of prints and paintings at this shared exhibition.
Ailbhe says “I am both excited and nervous to be showing alongside Ania and Margo, two wonderful local artists.”

Born in Katowice, in Poland, Ania displayed a talent for art in early childhood. From the age of 10, she began to attend additional art classes and received tutoring from a number of well-established Polish artists. At 13, she received her first oil paints from her father and has worked in the medium for over 30 years now. She studied at Silesia University in Cieszyn, Poland, and obtained her art diploma in 2003 in the studio of Tadeusz Rus.
Ania works mainly on canvas in oil and likes to experiment with colours and shapes often creating the pictures from her imagination. Since moving to London in 2005, Ania’s paintings have been exhibited in numerous solo and joint exhibitions. Her work is on display with multiple galleries throughout the UK, and can be found in the homes of collectors across the country. She had a great pleasure to exhibit with Society of Women Artists at the Mall Galleries in London and with Chelsea Art Society at Chelsea Old Town Hall and she is frequently represented at Affordable Art Fair and Fresh Art Fair.

Margo Random discovered art following a career as a musician, songwriter and actress. Studying at Putney School of Art and Morley College, for the past sixteen years she has been passionate about making art. While oil painting is her first love, Margo is also interested in exploring pastel, watercolour, collage, monoprint, and other printing techniques. Margo has shown her work at Putney, Woodfield Pavilion, Sprout Arts, Wandsworth Artists Open House and other galleries and art shows in London. Her ‘Tooting Bec’ series of limited-edition prints were acquired by London Transport Museum.
Margo’s work encompasses landscape, still life and portraits with an abstract sensibility and a love of colour derived from her travels, her London home and her origins in New York. Her aim is to find the essence of her subject and to depict it with simplicity and emotion. She is very pleased to present A Common Perspective this spring alongside the lovely art of Ania and Ailbhe.
