CREW Energy is a volunteer-led not-for-profit cooperative made up of south-west Londoners who care about making this corner of London a more resilient and sustainable community. They run a series of activities including giving energy advice and consultancy on how to green up your home.
Toby Costin will give a talk on options for making your home zero carbon. It will cover new technologies such as heat pumps which are likely to replace boilers in the future. It will also cover options for installing solar technologies as well as insulation.
There will be a chance to ask questions at the end.
The event will be chaired by Sue Sheehan who is part of Transition Town Brixton and ran draught-busting workshops focusing particularly on Victorian houses - the kind of our houses we find in our part of south west London.
