Tune in to an online community quilt-making workshop led by queer artists Al Hill, Joe Lawn, Colin Lievens, and Eleanor Louise West.
The artists will guide you through creating a patch which will be added to a quilt, documenting personal experiences and allyship across Wandsworth’s LGBTQIA+ community. The quilt will be sewn together and unveiled in a special celebratory event on Sunday 26th June.
This is a free zoom workshop and we welcome people of all abilities. Please bring a sewing needle, some thread, a pair of scissors, and whatever fabric you have at home. If you have fabric that has special significance to you, please bring it along. Once you’ve booked your free ticket, email us and we will send the zoom link to you. Please also indicate if you need sewing tools, such as needles.
The workshop is a relaxed event. If you have any access requirements, please email us and we will cater to them.
Supported by a WAF Grant through Wandsworth Grant Fund.
