Taster Collagraph Printmaking Workshop - with Jodi Jones

Taster Collagraph Printmaking Workshop

Wednesday 29th March

Woodfield Pavillion 12pm - 2pm

£15.00 including all materials

Tickets - HERE

Collagraphy is a printing process in which a textured plate is inked up and put through the press.

Come and explore this exciting printmaking process at Woodfield Pavillion on Tooting Common.

2pm - 4pm. This 2 hour workshop includes all the materials you will need. Also tea and biscuits.

1 session - £15.00 per person

Maximum class size of 6

We will start with a short introduction on collagraph printmaking and a demonstration of the different techniques we will be using.

You will have a chance to make two plates, a tester plate so you can experiment and see the varying results and textures, and a final plate to print.

You will get to take your original hand printed artwork home with you at the end of the session.

Print making can be messy so wear old clothes or bring an apron.

The ink we are using is water based and I have gloves available to use.

All the materials you will need are included so you just need to turn up and enjoy!

No experience needed

Beginners welcome. We will do some short playful exercises to get us mark making.

This workshop is for adults, all levels from never drawing or print making before to artists who want to experiment with their work.
