Spring Flourishing: a mini-retreat on Tooting Common
Join us for a nourishing mini-retreat celebrating the beauty and hopefulness of spring!
Spring Flourishing is the second mini-retreat in a series which aims to offer you space out of everyday life to reflect, rest and connect to the changing seasons, all inpired by our beloved Tooting Common.
Your host, Holly, will guide you through meditation practices and journalling with prompts and there'll be an opportunity to get out onto the Common to take inspiration from nature.
We'll enjoy:
Mindfulness and rest practices
Journalling
Gentle, meditative walking on Tooting's historic Common.
The event will take place in the Upper Hall of Woodfield Pavilion, a lovely community space. Tea, coffee and biscuits will be provided.
Please bring:
Notepad and pen
Comfy, cosy clothes, and your yoga mat if you have one (don't worry if you don't)
Your keep-cup if you might like to take a tea out onto the Common with you
Your facilitator Rev. Holly Chetan-Welsh
Holly is a writer and ordained Interfaith Minister - offering spiritual support to people of all faiths and none. She believes that all life is a journey of what we might call the spirit. Her wish is to support more people to own, embrace and create their own 'spiritual journey', inspired by all the rich meaning-making material around us.
