Stefan Szczelkun solo show:

‘In Common’

4th to the 16th March.

This is mainly a chance for me to show my new series of water colours of Community Noticeboards.

I’ll put these in the context of some retrospective work - ‘The Superior Six’ a set of paintings on the subject of how 'glamour lied to me'; a 2024 reprise of my ’24 Masterpieces’, about my obsession with UK Plotlands; finally a collage of documentary photographs of my ‘Scratch Cottage’ from Art Spectrum 1972 and Documenta 14 in Athens.

There will also be a few recent prints and a selection of my book works for sale.

I’m hoping to launch a new paper edition of my essay ‘Can Working Class Culture Be Knowledge?’.
