Community classes in a community space at a community cost
Meet Harriet, a yoga teacher living in Balham and owner of Elements 5 Yoga.
Harriet’s an experienced yoga teacher whose own ethos on yoga is that it should be accessible to all, especially when so many people are currently having to juggle costs. With studio membership and class prices still being very high, too many people are missing out on the benefits of yoga.
To help, Harriet is launching her own community yoga classes, bringing yoga to the community. She believes that people should just be able to show up to a class whether you’re a complete beginner or an experienced practitioner.
In her words, “Some people can feel a little intimidated going into a studio yoga class but don’t worry if you don’t have the designer gear or can’t touch your toes, my classes will always be welcome to you and I guarantee you’ll start to feel the benefits in a very short time”.

Tuesday evening Yoga with Allison
Hi, I’m Allison Dennis.
I've been practicing yoga for almost 10 years now and gained my yoga teacher qualification in May 2023 with the MoreYoga training school here in London. I personally came to yoga as a way to stretch after running sessions and have discovered over the years the many other benefits!
Yoga not only stretches you, it increases your strength, mobility and flexibility. It also encourages the quieting of the mind through focus on breathing and explores the power of linking breath to movement.
These classes are open level, aimed at beginners, returners and those who already have yoga experience. The style is a Vinyasa flow where students are encouraged to link one posture to the next.
Each pose is cued in detail every time we come to the mat and suggestions for variations to suit different bodies and experience will be offered so that each student can find their own level of practice.
Classes are on Tuesdays from 6-7pm
so come and join us to start or continue your yoga journey!
